Purpose of this activity
Once the students define which Anole is male, a mirror will be placed in the environment over a long period. The students will be able create a hypothesis on whether he becomes used to the mirrored image, or continues to be affected by it. Students will observe and make notes, take pictures, and write detailed descriptions about their Anole throughout another week of lessons. Students will come back together as a class once the mirror has been removed and observe what happens next. Students will write their final observations in the science journal, and will disucss the unit with classmates. Teacher will collect the journals for assessment.
